Greetings
Like many people in Seattle, I came from somewhere else so I understand what that transition may be like. Humor and creativity are strong components of my personality and often show up in my therapy practice.

My Therapeutic Approach
My goal is to create holistic and enduring change in individuals and family systems. With compassion and respect, I help clients develop intimacy, empathy, and a deeper understanding of themselves and others. I want to help you find your most authentic place, and give you the tools to stand there, regardless of what life throws at you.
My theoretical approach is mainly based on Family Systems Theory and Gestalt Therapy. I encourage clients to speak and think about their wants and needs and notice where they struggle with "difference" (of opinions, values, etc., within themselves or with others, including me). It is in this difference that communication is key and the opportunity to honor individual uniqueness arises. I also specialize in writing as an expressive, therapeutic technique to help individuals find and share new meanings.
